“A quality structure is something to be admired and learned from.”
This is what DMCI Holdings Inc. Founder and Chairman Emeritus David M. Consunji, the known “Father of Contemporary Construction Industry” in the country once said. He stressed that DMCI always aims to build quality projects that serve as milestone in the struggle of humanity for better structures.
This endless pursuit of product quality and excellence that was laid by its founder, is the driving force behind the institution of Quality Programs at DMCI Homes to motivate employees to always meet or exceed customer satisfaction and ensure excellence at work.
Recently, DMCI Homes concluded its latest quality programs – Tigbayon Design Concept Competition, Tumpak and Haraya – which were basically group competitions that encouraged employees to generate new tropical design concepts, promote construction quality management, and express creativity in the form of art.
Launched simultaneously in 2016, these programs primarily aimed to inculcate a culture of quality in the company and at the same time encourage to emulate core values on integrity, excellence, customer orientation and interdependence among employees.
Spearheaded by DMCI Homes’ Quality Council, successful entries were awarded cash prizes and tokens in a simple ceremony early this year.
Tigbayon, the Cebuano term for conceptual framework, is a group project design competition which aimed to generate fresh design concepts or ideas to further enhance current DMCI Homes brands. Through the competition, the company hopes to discover untapped creative talents across departments.
The Daintree Tower project of Jane Corpuz, Krish Olleta, Ralph Hung, Beth Bautista, Don Guevara, Renz Ilao, Desmond Carlos, Virgilio Sebastian and Glenn Trinidad from the Project Development and Landscape departments was chosen as winner among the four entries.
Also recognized during the event last February 17 were First Quarter winners of Tumpak, a Construction quality management competition which targets to recognize projects that ensure compliance to quality standards of DMCI Homes and applicable construction standards.
Fairway Terraces (Category A) and Brio Tower (Category B) were chosen as winners for the Compliance Consciousness bracket. Fairway Terraces also won in Category A, and Zinnia Towers in Category B, in the Quality Responsiveness bracket.
Meanwhile, winners of the Haraya wall mural contest were earlier recognized during the corporate Christmas party. Six teams participated in the competition which served as a venue for employees to express their thoughts on quality at DMCI Homes through art.
The overall winner was a collaboration of the Legal and Finance departments—Rosse Tee and Lee Datoy (Remedial); Emmanuel Fuellas, and Rod Stevenson Damian (Legal); Marcelino Caguioa and Ryan Ponte (Treasury); Jhoana Fe Lorenzana and Lei Anne Villavicencio (Credit and Collection); and Ruth Rocha and Rhazelle Felices (Financing).
The winning mural had the theme “Balintataw ni David (David’s Vision),” inspired by DMCI Homes’ Brand Story, “The Hero of the Underserved.” The art piece showcased the company’s dedication to build a cocoon of good living to Alfonso, the underserved middle manager.
These Quality Programs not only exhibit the ingenuity of our employees but also prove the growing culture of quality at DMCI Homes.

In these times, balanced lifestyles are valued more as modern city-living becomes busier and more fast-paced. This leads many homebuyers to look for properties that are at the center of action, while providing ample space and venues to relax and renew the body and mind.
On the corner of Pasig Boulevard and Shaw Boulevard, Lumiere Residences by DMCI Homes combines the elements of cosmopolitan living, immediate accessibility, and convenience for urbanites.
Located near EDSA and C-5, Lumiere Residences makes travelling around Metro Manila’s key places of interest easy and is situated near the major central business districts (CBDs) namely Ortigas Center, and Bonifacio Global City.
One does not even have to go far from the project to enjoy a modern and cosmopolitan way of life. Right within Pasig City and in nearby communities are many emerging hotspots that make life in the locale truly interesting and vibrant.
Kapitolyo in Pasig, for one, has become a destination for its one-of-a-kind restaurants and watering holes. Those who prefer a more upscale shopping and dining experience can head over to the newly developed Capitol Commons mall, with its perfect mix of sought-after brands and establishments.
Along Shaw Boulevard toward EDSA, Greenfield District has also already built a reputation for exciting activities, beginning with its famed Greenfield Weekend Market that showcases its unique food and retail tenants, plus engaging art activities.
Most importantly, the Lumiere Residences urban lifestyle is not just a promise but a reality within reach as DMCI Homes announced that the turnover of units in the first of the project’s three buildings, the East Tower, will commence one year ahead of schedule. East Tower is set to be completed on October 2017.
The development’s offerings include one-bedroom units which come at 28 square meters with prices starting at Php2.1 Mn.; two-bedroom units which range from 49 to 65 sq.m., with prices starting at Php2.8 Mn; and the 83 sq.m. three-bedroom units which are offered starting at Php5.4 Mn.
Lumiere Residences will also bear all the hallmarks of DMCI Homes’ innovative design and engineering found in its other resort-inspired mid- and high-rise condominium communities, such as lush landscaping, spacious amenities, and its proprietary Sky Patios and Lumiventt technology that provide bountiful ambient air and light inside its buildings.
With Lumiere Residences, adding value to one’s lifestyle is part of the scheme of things as residents get to easily strike a balance in city-living, enjoy the comforts of a high quality home and distinctive neighborhood, and immediate access to all their needs.
Lumiere Residences is one of the developments of DMCI Homes—the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer that provides quality homes at best value delivered on or ahead of time.
